Being a tourist in Africa

And as I travel to familiar destinations again it suddenly hit me, even though I’ve been to these places before and numerous times so, it’s always a different experience when I hop off the airplane or when I start to approach the city and look at it from the window on the side of a cab , perhaps the first time I was struck by the beauty of the skyline and the endless possibilities that roamed the air of the bustling city and the next time visiting it was mostly the feeling of familiarity that took over and as I frequent these destinations, the feeling changes to the anticipation of hitting the ground running because now there’s almost a certainty of what to expect and how to maneuver

The feeling is always different and it’s new , so I find myself being a tourist emotionally because if being a tourist is about going to a place you’ve never been and discovering, then my mind nd heart have been in a world wide tour all my life and I’m loving the excitement, the thrills and adventures of these new destinations especially those that are subconsciously in my bucket list.

I will continue to be a traveler, I will explore the world with my mind and my heart freely and I truly hope that every single person my free themselves of places that deprive them of being a tourist so that they may allow themselves to think out of the box and go crazy in their ideas , feel without wonder and dream of a better destination.

Life is neither short nor long , it’s exactly what you make of it. in a dream from a nap of 30 minutes , one can live an entire day of bliss from just the subconscious and the crazy destinations that it has been and I think that when we are asleep is when e are truly ourselves , so allow yourself the relaxation and comfort ever so often to get you to a state when you’re able to travel the world with your mind and your heart .
