Traveling Africa as a queer group

traveling to Africa already has a lot to consider especially because of all the innuendo and propaganda spread by the news and media outlets. while South African cities do have some dangerous areas , the most important thing to remember is that almost every major city in the world has some dangerous parts of it but sadly when it comes to Africa ,there's this idea that we have more danger than everyone else which is not true.

Many major world events have been held here and have been successful including the Rugby final in 1995 (which we won by the way ;) as well as the fifa world cup in 2010 which was also a spectacular success and this year we are hosting the G20 summit .

In light of all this , where inclusion is involved the queer community has even more to consider about friendly destinations and that's where All Queer Travel comes in. sometime you will find one gay person or lesbian or trans in a group of 10 friends who will feel marginalized because the trip will be planned by a person who doesn't factor that in but at all queer Travel we take it all into account . when planning trip for a group with a queer person, it's always best to choose a queer friendly company because leaving one person to have to blend in is rather unfair where the majority of the group can easily adapt to a queer planned itinerary

With a trip planned by a queer travel specialist , queer couples can get boo'd up as much as they want with no fear of judgement or marginalization, they can hold hands in public , dress up how they want and be themselves and really get to immerse themselves in the vibrant energies of our major cities being Cape town , Johannesburg and our national parks seeing the big 5 animals and enjoying sunsets in bush lodges and so much more .

whatever you do , do consider booking a consultation with a queer friendly travel specialist with us and enjoy your visit to South africa.
